Joel e Régis hanno scoperto da poco di essere fratellastri ma non potrebbero essere l'uno diverso dall'altro: Joel è un immigrato africano di colore, disoccupato e povero mentre Régis è, invece, un patriottico di carnagione un po' più chiara di Joel, convinto sostenitore dell'egemonia culturale francese, tanto da rinnegare ogni legame con le sue origini e odiare tutto ciò che è nero. Chiamati entrambi alle Antille, al capezzale del padre morente, ricevono un prezioso documento che in seguito a una manomissione li trasporta indietro nel tempo, fino al 1780, in America, dove si ritrovano imprigionati e venduti come schiavi. Dovranno lottare un bel po' prima di ritornare liberi e nel futuro.

A young Asian boy named Lalit is caught up in the midst of a car racketing scheme on the island of St.Maarten. The detective investigating the scheme is an old friend of Lalit's family. He finds himself in a tough position. Does he remain loyal to his family or does he obey the law and co-operate in the investigation.
It shows an electoral campaign in Guadeloupe in which Coco la fleur is asked to stand for election for strategic purposes. However, when he discovers how much publicity the campaign offers, he seizes the opportunity to voice the people's grievances.
