Babası Teai tarafından öldürülen Yumi Ishida, Teai’nin kovulan elemanı Kotaro Sakazaki ve Teai’deki pozisyonunu kaybeden Yukio Tonegawa’nın “Bataklık”ı alaşağı etmek için Kaiji’ye katılır, ancak hayatları tehlikededir.

Bunu engellemek için ise büyük yeraltı kumar organizasyonunda bir devlet bakanıyla büyük paralar karşılığında oyuna oturması ve kazanarak hükumetin bu yıkıcı planını altüst etmesi gerekmektedir. Fakat bu oyun Kaiji’nin daha önce karşılaştıklarına benzememektedir. Planlarının başarıya ulaşması için, Kaiji’nin elinden geleni yapması, zekâsını ve azmini kullanıp dostlarıyla işbirliği yapması gerekecektir.
