Roma, 1970'lerde siyasi kargaşanın hüküm sürdüğü Roma’da geçiyor. Cleo, Meksiko’nun orta sınıf ailelerinin yaşadığı bir Roma mahallesinde bulunan bir evde hizmetçi olarak çalışan genç bir kadındır.
