周树(黄晓明 饰)在夜市被蒙面人挟持，关进了名为“Hades”的监狱。这座监狱关押着各型各色重型犯人，仿佛残酷人类战场。为了营救黄晓明，史泰龙叫上戴夫·巴蒂斯塔作为接应的助手，故意让自己被抓住后，深入这座监狱，与黄晓明互相配合，共同作战逃脱。
