Di fronte allo scarso successo commerciale, la cantante Mima che deve abbandonare il microcosmo rosa confetto delle idol per essere "rilanciata" come attrice, in un mondo dove invece diventerà solo carne da macello. Ottiene la parte di una ragazza psicologicamente instabile nel serial Tv "Doppio Legame", ma inizia a ricevere messaggi di minaccia anonimi da parte di un fan otaku che non ha tollerato il cambiamento d'immagine della "sua" Mima. Di lì a poco, una serie di incidenti colpisce il set di lavorazione. La stessa Mima, abituata a essere un mero simulacro, inizia a perdere contatto con la propria identità. Ma allora: chi è la vera Mima? Quella che veste gli ingenui costumi della idol? Quella che compare sorridente su Internet? Quella che fa la spesa al supermercato? La ragazza schizofrenica di "Doppio Legame"? L'illusione di se stessa? Oppure solo l'illusione di tutti?

Due ragazze completamente agli antipodi si incontrano in treno, mentre questo è costretto per via della neve a stazionare in un punto morto della linea. Unica cosa in comune che le lega sembra essere il loro nome e l'età. Entrambe si chiamano Nana. Ma mentre una è una rocker, all'apparenza dura e molto matura, l'altra è la tipica giapponese carina e sorridente e dall'aspetto un po' infantile. Le due alla fine si lasciano e ritornano alle proprie vite. Si viene così a sapere che Nana Osaki è una cantante che ha lasciato da poco il suo gruppo. Uno dei componenti, il suo ragazzo, si è unito ad un'altra band, molto in voga in Giappone. Affranta e completamente sola, va in cerca per la città di un appartamento e il destino vuole che capiti proprio nella stessa abitazione in cui si trova Nana Komatsu, la ragazza incontrata sul treno.

Proseguendo con la storia da dove si era interrotta il primo film, incontriamo nuovamente Nana Komatsu mentre si reca ad un grosso evento musicale la cui star è il gruppo dei Blast, la cui voce è Nana Osaki, che finalmente ha ottenuto il successo tanto ricercato. Nonostante il momento felice Nana Komatsu sembra stranamente giù di morale, non più la ragazza spigliata e sempre allegra di un tempo. Tramite il lungo flashback che ricopre l'intera durata della pellicola si scopre quanto accaduto durante gli ultimi tempi alle due giovani. Nana Osaki, costantemente impegnata nel miglioramento e nella promozione della sua band, torna a stare con Ren, il chitarrista dei Trapnest, e tramite i contatti con questa band riesce a far incontrare Takumi e Nana Komatsu (sua grande fan).

In his latest film, Shirome, Stardust Promotion's relatively new pop idol unit Momoiro Clover star as a group of girls who enter an old abandoned school hoping to have their wishes granted by a spirit called Shirome. The girls initially had no clue they were being filmed for a movie at all. Instead, they were told that they were being filmed for an upcoming television show exploring haunted locations. The result is a faux documentary style in the same vein as "The Blair Witch Project" and "Paranormal Activity".

Still Dreaming is TXT's first Japanese studio album. It was released on January 20, 2021. It was released with an accompanying DVD with the music video for the Japanese version of 'Blue Hour' and the making of the music video with interviews.
