遭到中國全面封殺，本世紀第一話題禁片。BBC、CNN、New York Times等超過三十家國際傳媒追蹤報導。從沒有一部香港獨立電影能如此旋風席捲全港，儘管只有6間戲院「膽敢」上映，映期58日票房竟高達600萬港幣，更有超過三十家民間機構響應放映。《十年》為2015年亞洲電影節推介電影，並超乎大家意外地獲得2016年第35屆香港金像獎最佳影片。電影主題探討：十年後，香港會變成怎樣﹖ 《十年》是由五則各自獨立的電影組成，並各自由不同導演拍攝。電影主要描述香港民主人權、言論自由與本土文化遭到侵蝕的狀況，進而預言十年後(2025年)香港可能的狀態。起源來自香港導演伍嘉良的紀錄片《趁還有墟》，在紀錄片拍攝時，因頻頻接觸香港街坊鄰居，互相交流對香港現況的唏噓，逐漸醞釀出想法，延伸出本土獨立電影中的5個故事，帶出10年香港的省思：究竟10年過去，香港的社會進步或是裹足不前？ 《十年》5個故事包含：《浮瓜》、《冬蟬》、《方言》、《自焚者》、《本地蛋》，由導演伍嘉良力邀其他4位香港新秀導演，郭臻、黃飛鵬、周冠威、歐文傑執導，以自己的觀點出發，拍出想像中10年發香港的發展。 其中，郭臻導演的《浮瓜》描寫中國政府為了在香港推行國家安全法，政府竟然自導自演，在五一節慶日上演刺殺議員的恐怖攻擊事件，希望藉此強調推行國家安全法的必要性。

黃飛鵬導演的《冬蟬》係描述一對戀人無力抗爭拆遷，保育的建築走至盡頭，只好將消失的一切製成標本。

歐文傑導演的《方言》則是描寫香港本土計程車司機，因為不會講普通話遭到歧視，藉此顯露香港本土語言遭到鄙視，與哀悼香港本土語言的流失。

周冠威導演的《自焚者》描寫追求港獨者認為，英國有責任幫香港人討回公道，因此抗議人士在英國駐香港領事館前自焚，希望藉此行動發聲，喚醒香港人的自覺意識。

有人知道香港有本地農場？有本地蛋嗎？伍嘉良導演自己的作品《本地蛋》，則以香港本地雞蛋農場的生存比喻香港本土價值的消逝，不過，此時的香港孩童卻變身紅衛兵，檢舉批鬥不應該存在的香港舊文化等等。 由於《十年》電影涉及宣揚港獨精神、批判一國兩制，目前「十年」已被中國列為指定的敏感詞，遭到網路封鎖。《十年》將由佳映娛樂在台發行，預計2016年八月與各位觀眾大銀幕見。
