يروي الفيلم قصة عميلة في المباحث الفيدرالية الأمريكية تدعى كيت مايسي ، والتي تنتمي لمنطقة (توسكين) الواقعة في (أريزونا)، وتقوم بالسفر عبر الحدود الفاصلة بين (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية) و(المكسيك) بتكليف مباشر من أحد المسئولين الكبار بصحبة مجموعة من المرتزقة في سبيل القبض على واحد من أباطرة تجارة المخدرات.
تدور أحداث الجزء الثاني من الفيلم حول زيارة مارتي لعام 1955 مرة أخري عن طريق آلة الزمن، ولكن مهمته هذه المرة منع تغييرات كارثية لعام 1985، وذلك دون تدخل أحد معه في رحلته.

Best friends Peppe and Mario are thieves, but they're not very good at it. Still, Peppe thinks that he's finally devised a master heist that will make them rich. With the help of some fellow criminals, he plans to dig a tunnel from a rented apartment to the pawnshop next door, where they can rob the safe.
