Dottoressa Peluche ha per protagonista Dottie, una premurosa bambina di sei anni che riesce a parlare con giocattoli e animali di stoffa prendendosi cura di loro e medicandoli laddove necessario. Quando Dottie usa il suo stetoscopio, accade qualcosa di magico: giocattoli, bambole e peluche prendono vita e lei può comunicare con loro. Ad assistere Dottie nella sua clinica ci sono sempre i suoi adorati amici di peluche: l’orgoglioso Draghetto, l’affettuosa pecorella Bianchina, Hallie, ippopotamo infermiere allegro e premuroso, Squittino, pesciolino allarmista dalla voce squillante e il pupazzo di neve Nevino che passa molto tempo in clinica per i suoi check-up. Che si tratti di una cucitura allentata, batterie scariche o una piccola crepa Dottie e i suoi assistenti sono lì a dare una mano trasmettendo ai giovani telespettatori l’importanza di prendersi cura di se stessi e degli altri.

Barney & Friends is an American children's television series aimed at children from ages 2 to 5. The series, which first aired on April 6, 1992, features the title character Barney, a purple anthropomorphic Tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, optimistic attitude.

A group of toys (including wise old Balthazar the bear, Rugby the tiger plush, Raisin the rag doll, Ditz the clown toy, Hortense the rocking horse, and Mew the catnip mouse) come alive while the children are away, having adventures and living life by a strict set of rules - first of which is "Never let the children know you can move."

Tots TV is a British children's television programme, produced by Ragdoll Productions and Central.

The programme featured three ragdoll friends: Tilly, a French girl, with red hair, who speaks in basic French, Tom, a blue haired boy with glasses, and Tiny, the youngest Tot, who is smaller than the others and has green hair.

Tots TV was written by two of its puppeters - Robin Stevens and Andrew Davenport with Tilly played by three actresses - initially Veronique Deroulede, then Claire Carre and Alexandra Hogg. The series won two BAFTA awards for its producer Anne Wood and director Vic Finch. Originally broadcast in the UK on the ITV network, CBeebies, the BBC's television channel for young children,pick up the series from 2004.

The Series was also broadcast in the United States on the PBS network from 1996 with 'Tilly speaking Spanish, instead of French. In 2000 Discovery Kids broadcast the series throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean and the Falkland Islands.

Bagpuss is a UK children's television series, made by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate from 12 February 1974 to 7 May 1974 through their company Smallfilms. The title character was, "An old, saggy, cloth cat, baggy, and a bit loose at the seams." Although only 13 episodes of the show were made, it remains fondly remembered, and was regularly repeated in the UK for thirteen years. In 1999 Bagpuss topped a BBC poll for the UK's favourite children's TV programme.
