Loganas jau susenęs ir beprarandantis savo ypatingas galias: kūnas nebepajėgia pats išgydyti patirtų žaizdų, todėl jo oda išvagota senų randų. Profesorius X irgi nebe toks, kaip anksčiau – jį įveikė Alzhaimerio liga, todėl jis beveik nieko nebepamena. Nusilpę ir pavargę herojai vis dėlto bus priversti stoti į dar vieną kovą prieš blogį ir išgelbėti jauną mergaitę Laurą, kuri yra labai panaši į Loganą. Galbūt mutantų pasaulis dar turi vilčių atgimti?
