Tá sa s ňou na oplátku vydáva na návštevu do Zvonilkinho domova. Keď sa o ich púti dozvie kráľovná Clarion a kráľ Milori, vládcovia Zimných lesov, varujú obe pred tým, že už nikdy nesmú zakázanú hranicu prekročiť, a vysvetľujú im obeť, ktorú sami museli za podobný priestupok podstúpiť. Cililing a Modrovločka ale nemôžu ovplyvniť prírodu. Keď stroj na výrobu snehu, ktorý Modrovločka pri svojom putovaní po Zvonilčině domove používa, začne ohrozovať strom, ktorý je zdrojom čarovného prášku víl, sú obe sestry nútené zjednotiť letné a zimné víly a všetko napraviť skôr, než bude neskoro.
