The Likely Lads was a black and white British sitcom created and written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, and produced by Dick Clement. Twenty-one episodes were broadcast by the BBC, in three series, between 16 December 1964 and 23 July 1966. However, only eight of these shows have survived.

Having spent over £300 million to buy the club, appointed a new Head Coach, Eddie Howe, and made a bold statement of intent by signing several big name players, fans' expectations are rocketing and the new owners and Head Coach have much to do to transform the club's fortunes. This series follows life at the club both on and off the pitch.
