20 years after their battle with the Evolians had ended, a new threat appears to threaten the long-lasting peace that the Abarangers have enjoyed. For the first time in a long while, they transform to fight but the public seems to think their actions are barbaric acts of destruction. The film is set 66 million years ago in Late Cretaceous North America and covers the dramatic extinction event that wiped out the non-avian dinosaurs.

Il ricchissimo industriale John Hammond è riuscito a costruire un parco dei divertimenti a tema incentrato sui dinosauri (riportati in vita grazie ad una complessa operazione di ingegneria genetica), il "Jurassic Park". Hammond invita alcuni esperti e scienziati a compiere un sopralluogo nell'isola dove il parco è allestito e a stilare una perizia positiva che gli permetta di ottenere i finanziamenti di cui ha bisogno. Ma qualcosa va storto: a causa di una tempesta, il sistema di controllo computerizzato del parco va fuori uso, i dinosauri rompono i recinti in cui sono rinchiusi e impazzano liberi dando la caccia agli umani...
