As Iron Man, teenage child prodigy Tony Stark uses his technological inventions to fight various similarly technologically advanced threats. His friends, James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Pepper Potts, help him on his courageous and dangerous adventures.

平凡な高校生である深町晶が、謎の異星人が地球に残した「ユニット」との接触をきっかけに、強大な力を持つ「ガイバー」に変身する能力を手に入れ、世界征服を目論む秘密結社「クロノス」と対決するアクションヒーロー物語。当初晶はガイバーの力に翻弄されるままであったが、クラスメートなど周囲の人々に支えられるうち、人間の尊厳をかけ戦うという明確な意志を持つようになる。

The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor is a 12 part anime OVA loosely based on Yoshiki Takaya's manga, Bio-Booster Armor Guyver. It was released in Japan from 1989 to 1992. It is the second animated adaptation, following the 1986 OVA Guyver: Out of Control.
