A young man has recently become homeless on the streets of Glasgow, Scotland. He meets and befriends an older homeless man who takes him under his wing. A conversation begins between the two that leads to dark revelations.

Returning from an errand to buy bread, a boy finds a menacing dog blocking his way through the alley he must go down to get home.
