Robin Monroe (Anne Heche) prava je Njujorčanka - uvijek misli na posao i na karijeru i uspješna je urednica njujorškog modnog magazina. Okolnosti će prekinuti Robinino ljetovanje i ona će s Harrisom poletjeti za Tahiti kako bi stigla u New York, ali se avion sruši na pusti otok.
