일군의 컨트리 음악 관련 종사자들이 음악제에 참여하기 위해 컨트리 음악의 도시로 유명한 내쉬빌을 찾는다. 하지만 내쉬빌에서는 차기 대통령 후보 선전이 한창이다. 이와 맞물리면서 컨트리 음악제는 대통령 후보를 알리기 위한 선전 도구로 전락한다.
