Der betreut in den Schweizer Alpen, für einen verletzten Kollegen, eine Relaisstation, mit der die Verteilung von Satellitenprogrammen überwacht wird. Peter wird Zeuge eines Mordes, als seine Station die Bilder einer vesteckten Kamera empfängt. Zusammen mit Danny versucht er den Standort der überwachten Wohnung herauszufinden, um die junge Frau die dort lebt, und möglicherweise ebenfalls in Gefahr ist, zu warnen. Als Danny auf eigene Faust loszieht fällt er den Drahtziehern in die Hände und Peter, tausende von Kilometern entfernt und von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten, muß versuchen seinen kleinen Freund aus der tödlichen Gefahr zu befreien.
