故事內容發生於公元208年，時值中國東漢末年，在擊敗河北的袁紹之後，曹操已實際上成為長江以北的霸主，奸狡的他開始染指南方。曹操一方面「挾天子以令諸侯」，在北方建立穩固的統治，一方面追討「煮酒論英雄」後倉徨南逃的劉備，實際上是一心想統一南方。而接下兄父「江東基業」的孫權，聽從魯肅建議，意圖與勢力較弱的劉備結盟。看似不堪一擊的劉備則獲得孔明的全力輔佐。滾滾長江分隔南北，英雄輩出的三國時代，交織出一場前所未有、空前絕後的超大型戰爭。

A Broken Arrow is defined as an unexpected event involving nuclear weapons that result in the accidental launching, firing, detonating, theft or loss of the weapon. To date, six nuclear weapons have been lost and never recovered.Now, recently declassified documents reveal the history and secrecy surrounding the events known as "Broken Arrows". There have been 32 nuclear weapon accidents since 1950. Six of these nuclear weapons have been lost and never recovered. What does this say about our defense system?
