兩萬年前，冰河世紀逐漸迫近，大小動物必需南下求生。尖酸刻薄的長毛象文輝勉強救了力弱又多口的樹獺森仔，途中，森仔發現棄嬰羅山，遂哄騙文輝一齊放棄南下，先護送他回家。未幾，他們遇上賊眉賊眼的劍齒虎大阿哥，對羅山虎視眈眈。三隻性格迴異的動物連同小羅山，合力渡過不少難關，目的地愈來愈近之際，危機又再出現……
三位《冰河世紀》的老友記長毛象文輝、樹獺森仔及劍齒虎大阿哥o係06年的復活節又再次番o黎反轉香港！上集講述佢地三位性格迴異的史前動物幾經艱苦英勇地拯救了獵人的小孩，並且成為患難之交。 但冰河世紀終於要結束了！因為冰塊將要溶解，新紀元即將誕生！所有冰河時期的動物都非常雀躍於迎接水上世界的來臨，面對噴泉、涼水和激流，動物們都在水上樂園過著非常寫意的生活。但機警的長毛象文輝、樹獺森仔及劍齒虎大阿哥卻察覺到離水上樂園不遠的溶冰將會形成洪水淹蓋他們的樂土，禍害生命，他們設法拯救所有享樂主義的動物們，帶領他們逃離水災之地。
西元前一萬年，故事年代約略在中石器時代，達力（D'Leh，史帝芬·史翠飾）是亞高（Yagahl）族年輕的猛獁象獵人。開始於達力年幼時，發生的兩件重大事件。首先，部落中的智者老媽（Old Mother，摩娜·哈蒙飾）的預言準確靈驗，一個年輕的碧眼女孩伊芙樂（Evolet，卡蜜拉·貝兒飾）的神秘到來，碧眼傳奇就此展開。其次，在猛獁象逐漸稀少的環境下，達力的父親離開部落，為族群去找尋新食物來源，父親的離開使得達力被冠上「懦弱之子」的汙名下長大。隨時間流逝，達力逐漸與伊芙樂產生情感，並且承諾伊芙樂永遠放在他的心中。

In the prehistoric world, a Cro-Magnon tribe depends on an ever-burning source of fire, which eventually extinguishes. Lacking the knowledge to start a new fire, the tribe sends three warriors on a quest for more.
