런던에 홀로 거주하던 애덤은 신비로운 이웃 해리를 만나 연인이 된다. 이후 해리와 함께 어린 시절 자신이 살았던 집을 방문하고, 그곳에서 부모님이 30년 전 돌아가셨던 날과 똑같이 살고 있다는 사실을 알게 된다. 부모님이 돌아가셨을 때의 나이가 된 애덤은 자신의 삶과 동성애에 대해 부모님과 이야기를 나눌 기적을 마주한다.
