Мультфільм включає в себе дві короткометражки за участю Тома і Джеррі і одну з Друпі або Спайком і Тайком. Сюжет для кота і мишеняти залишився без змін: на протязі всього мультсеріалу кіт збирається зловити мишеняти, але йому це ніяк не вдається через прорахунки або інших обставин. Іноді в деяких епізодах головні герої разом дружать і допомагають одне одному. Крім того, протягом усього мультфільму Джеррі носить червоний бант, і у нього на голові жмут волосся; кіт Том в епізодах часто з'являється в кепці червоного кольору.
У другій частині мультсеріалу показані пригоди пса Друпі і його сина Дріпла. Обидва персонажі, в залежності від епізоду, працюють в театрі, піцерії, фітнес-центрі і т. п. Головним ворогом псів є злий вовк МакВульф. У цій частині присутній приваблива і смілива жінка міс Вавум, яка любить Друпі і є об'єктом симпатій МакВульфа.
У деяких епізодах також показуються окремі короткометражки за участю пса Спайка і його сина Тайка, який весь час потрапляє в неприємності.
