S Drakulovou dcérou Mavis majú teraz utešeného synčeka Denisa, ktorý však nepreukazuje žiadne známky upírskeho správania. A to robí vrásky na čele jeho starému otcovi, grófovi Drakulovi. Keď Mavis a Jonathan odídu na niekoľko dní z domu a malého Denisa nechajú v dedkovych rukách netušia, že si zaumieni urobiť z vnúčika pravého upíra. A to za každú cenu.
