Questo film avrebbe potuto essere peggiore e così sarebbe stato migliore. Sembra un assurdo ma è così. Gli sceneggiatori, preoccupati di mettere in scena tutte le ovvietà del genere (non tutti sono il Blake Edwards di Nei panni di una bionda) hanno cercato di nobilitarlo inserendo personaggi non grotteschi ed evitando la comicità più volgare. Ne è uscito così un ibrido che punta tutto sullo scambio di passione provando a ragionarci sopra. Riuscendo così nell'impresa di scontentare tutti.
