Martinov je zadatak voziti Jacka Billingsa (Hunter Clary), sina utjecajnog i važnog političara. I dok Martin vozi Jacka na pregled kod doktora, ne sluti što se sprema. Doktor je zapravo Dimitri (Jason Flemyng), ruski agent i pripadnik terorističke organizacije, koja otima Jacka i traži otkupninu. Uznemireni roditelji, spremni na sve za dobrobit svog sina, plaćaju otkupninu ne znajući da tek sada počinje njihova prava noćna mora. Naime, mladiću je ubrizgan smrtonosni virus kojim teroristi žele zaraziti njegova oca, nadajući se kako će ga on dalje prenijeti ostalim političarima na kongresu koji se uskoro održava. Kako su teroristi pripremili savršeni plan kojim krivnju žele prenijeti na Martina, njemu ostaje malo vremena da pronađe protuotrov i dokaže vlastitu nevinost.
