На основу успеха серије снимљен је и дугометражни мјузикл South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut чија је премијера била у јуну 1999. Серија је добила многе награде, од којих су најзначајнија четири Емија за најбољу серију у ударном термину те награда Пибоди.
