On April 30th 2013 millions of Dutch people dressed in their national colour oranje gathered all around the Netherlands with Amsterdam being the capital of the celebrations. Of course the coronation of Willem Alexander and his wife Máxima was the occasion and a highlight of that unforgettable day was a very special concert that André Rieu, the undisputed King Of The Waltz, gave in honour of the royal couple and the Queen for 30 years, Beatrix. On the world renowned Museum Square in the heart of the city André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra entertained the audience for almost 100 minutes making the city waltz and swirl. The program features classics like Time To Say Goodbye , Don t Cry For Me Argentina and of course the title André wrote for the new King, the Coronation Waltz .

This is not concert/music disk, it is much more, it has interviews with Andre' (in Dutch with subtitles). It shows Andre' at home, old video footage of when he was a child and teenager. It is of course filled with Andre's beautiful music also, through out, clips from concerts etc. It shows behind the scenes, what happens backstage etc. It is very enjoyable, it is interesting seeing him do a little bit of shopping at his local shop, playing with his dog in his beautiful mansion and grounds. The premiere of the world tour "La vie est belle" was one of the finest outdoor theaters in the world, the Waldbühne in Berlin. Backed by a choir, an additional percussion ensemble, 300 bagpipe players, a brilliant light and laser show and fireworks. Andre gave one of his most spectacular concerts ever.

Everyone knows the Samba is the National Dance of Brazil - but that changed in 2012 when André Rieu played his first ever concert series in Brazil's hustling and bustling commercial capital of Sao Paulo.
