Wanneer de vrouw van Carlos Ruweda verdwijnt ontdekt hij een magische gave: in zijn dromen heeft hij visioenen over het lot van verdwenen mensen. This film is based on a true story of an Irish baby brought up by the Colorado Apaches. When a group of outlaws attack and destroy a wagon train, the only survivor gives birth to a baby, whom the Indian chief, White Bear brings up as his son and calls him Shining Sky. Shining Sky grows up with the chief's son Black Wolf and by a stroke of fate kills his best friend and brother. Overcome by grief he leaves and goes to live in the world of white men but decides to go back to the world of his youth, leaving an enemy, Redeath, behind him whom he is destined to meet again and again.
The commander of a Texan fort in the Civil War refuses to surrender to the Northerners, and tries to buy the local Indian tribe chief's daughter. The sage man refuses, and the Southerners massacre the tribe and abduct the young squaw anyway. The noble squaw manages to escape, and hides out with a rough rancher, who dislikes Indians, but hates the Southerners more. The odd couple joins forces, and tactics, to exert ultimate vengeance on the men at the fort.

Het eerste deel van het levensverhaal van "El Lute", een delinquent die in de jaren zestig berucht werd in Spanje voor zijn ontsnappingen uit de gevangenis, wat van hem een legendarische figuur maakte. In zijn jeugd had hij het hard te verduren. Zijn familie was arm en wanneer zijn moeder stierf werd hij tot zes maanden cel veroordeeld omdat hij enkele kippen had gestolen. Vijf jaar later beroofde hij een juwelierszaak en doodde een bewaker. Hij kreeg de doodstraf, maar deze werd omgezet in levenslang. Tijdens het overbrengen naar een andere gevangenis vluchtte hij voor de eerste keer.
