Po natočení vrcholné scény filmu režisérka vykřikla Střih! a pak měla dlouhý projev k herci, který hrál vraha. Téže noci herec režisérku ubodal k smrti a těžce zranil Vanessu. Natáčení bylo přerušeno a film nebyl nikdy dokončen. Když totiž po čase převzal projekt nový režisér, tentokrát muž, byl nedlouho po zahájení prací také zavražděn.
