Lucia è una geometra specializzata in rilevamenti catastali, nota per la pignoleria con cui insiste nel “fare le cose per bene”. La sua vita, però, è tutto fuorché precisa: a 18 anni ha avuto una figlia, Rosa, da un amore passeggero; ha appena chiuso una relazione pluriennale con Arturo; il suo lavoro precario non basta ad arrivare a fine mese. Approfittando della sua vulnerabilità economica, Paolo, il sindaco del paese, le affida il compito di effettuare un rilevamento su un terreno dove un imprenditore vuole costruire un impero immobiliare.
