Esta es una historia de amigos que se atreven a cruzar esa delgada línea que separa la amistad del amor y que cambia la vida para siempre. Daniel, un joven y ambicioso chef español, acaba de conseguir su sueño: una plaza en el prestigioso restaurante de Thomas Wackerle en Zurich.

A lifeguard at Lake Müggel has his hand bitten off and the marks indicate a shark attack. The lake is closed to the public by extending a local festival indefinitely while the city council thinks of what can be done to remove the shark. The public becomes restless having their lake closed for so long and come up with a plan to drive the shark from the lake with large quantities of beer.

Besar ( Maryam Zaree ) con su pequeña hija Meena ( Lila Marschall ) vive feliz en una casa alquilada, y regentando un pequeño café . No quiere ni necesita a ningún hombre. Hasta aquí todo es normal. Por lo menos desde su punto de vista. Su abuela india ( Bharti Jaffrey ), propietaria de la casa de vecinos , es de una opinión diferente, piensa que tal vida es deshonrosa . Así que la pone en una disyuntiva: O se casa con Robert ( Steffen Groth ), el padre de Meena, o la casa de vecinos y café , se venden.

En esta segunda parte, Gwen y su novio Gideon deben enfrentarse y escapar del conde de St. Germain. Gwen ya es consciente, al igual que Gideon, de que es portadora de los genes del viaje. Por otra parte, Lucy y Paul se unen a la liga florentina y, en principio, se convierten en enemigos de Gwen. Adaptación cinematográfica de la segunda parte de la trilogía “Rubí” de la escritora alemana Kerstin Gier.
