Makoto er en 17-årig pige, som ikke klarer sig for godt i skolen og er temmelig klodset. En dag opdager hun, at hun har evnen til at rejse i tid. Dette begynder hun hurtigt at benytte sig af. Lige pludselig kan hun sove længe uden at komme for sent. Hun begynder at klare alle eksamener fantastisk, og hendes klodsethed er ikke længere noget problem. I starten er alt godt, men det går hurtigt op for Makoto, at hendes handlinger har negativ effekt på hendes omgivelser.
