Je jen na Midoriyovi a jeho přátelích zastavit novou hrozbu a zachránit občany Japonska od nebezpečí.

Protože symbol klidu a míru, největší hrdina ze všech All Might odešel do důchodu, tak se vlna kriminality ve světě nepříjemně zvedá. Vlády proto vymýšlí, jak co nejrychleji uspíšit nástup nové generace hrdinů, kteří by pomohli s udržováním pořádku. Prvním krokem bylo zavedení možnosti získat hrdinskou licenci i pro studenty prvního ročníku hrdinské akademie a nyní přichází nový projekt, v rámci kterého se třída 1-A stane ochránci pořádku na malém a odlehlém ostrově Nabu. Zde bez jakéhokoli dozoru dospělých budou studenti dbát na pokoj a pohodlí místních obyvatel. Ovšem nebyl by to Midoriya Izuku a jeho spolužáci, aby se i zde nezapletli do dalšího smrtelného nebezpečí...

All Might a Deku přijmou pozvání do plovoucího a mobilního města, které je vytvořeno člověkem a nazývá se "I-Island", kde na speciálním srazu "I-Expo", který se právě koná na ostrově, zkoumají zvláštnosti i doplňkové předměty pro hrdiny. Během té doby je náhle, navzdory železné bezpečnostní zdi obklopující ostrov, systém prolomen padouchem a jediní, kdo ho dokáží zastavit, jsou studenti třídy 1-A.
