但参加BBC一个历史节目的考古学家说,有证据显示这位古代女王有一半非洲血统。
克娄巴特拉是托勒密(Ptolemy)王朝的末代君主,先与兄弟和丈夫共同主政,后来一人统治,并号称法老,曾是罗马皇帝凯撒(Julius Caesar)和大将安东尼(Anthony)的情人。
欧洲王族
迄今为止人们普遍认定克娄巴特拉祖上来自希腊北部的马其顿(Macedonia),因为她所属的王室是亚历山大大帝攻占埃及后建立的殖民王朝。
现在考古学家在土耳其西海岸一个古墓里发现了他们确信是克娄巴特拉胞妹阿尔西诺伊(Arsinoe)的骷髅,而对骷髅的鉴定显示她母亲是非洲人。
