The 2020 film is not included because its a reboot.

I see. I believe at the time I posted the problem, reboots were included in collections. Did the rules change recently? Also, is there a specific way that the site defines reboots? If it's listed in the contribution guidelines, I can read it there if it is.

"Tales from the Grudge" is a part of the first american franchise and still needs to be added though.

Its always been there, since the guidelines were initially published. "Remakes, reboots are spin-offs are usually not grouped with their predecessors. They typically are stand-alone films or the beginning of a new film series." https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/collection

As for Tales from the Grudge, it does not meet the guidelines to be in the collection because its a short film.

i'm sorry i didn't realise that. I just noticed that remakes used to be included in collections on letterboxd but very recently they changed it. Are 4444444444 and In a corner not considered shorts? They are in the Ju-on collection. Personally, I'd like it if all the parts of the franchise were together but that's just me I guess. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

4444444444 and In a Corner were incorrectly added to the Ju-on collection. I've removed them.
