He gets in contact with the terrorists and joins them. Together they are planning to strike against the CIA headquarters in Stockholm.

Hamiltons partner and best friend, Lundwall, is murdered by the Mob. Hamilton is dragged into a bitter and brutal vendetta between himself and the Mob-leader Don Tommaso.

Carl Hamilton is called to Moscow to testify on behalf of a GRU officer who is charged with treason against the state. He has to testify that the officer has not sold information to Sweden.

Carl Hamilton manages to infiltrate an international gang that has stolen advanced Swedish GPS-guided missiles. But the league is subjected to a sudden deadly attack by a well drilled group of mercenaries of unknown clients. Hamilton escapes the massacre, but the rockets have disappeared without a trace.
