MADISON MOVIE
Is Witnessed In England By Boy From Indiana Town Who Writes Home On Subject.
SPECIAL DISPATCH TO THE ENQUIRER.
Madison, Ind., April 19 -- A Madison movie, produced by the Office of War Information last fall, is serving its purpose overseas, according to reports to Barney Hughes, who serves a liaison officer and the OWI.
Hughes has received a letter from William I. Gray, a Madison boy, serving with the United States forces in England, saying he saw the Madison film in London. Private Gray told his mother it was just as she had described it to him.
Captain George D. Hughes, with the United States forces in England, reported a member of his crew also saw the picture in London.
Residents of Madison saw the film in a theater a few months ago, after it was released by the OWI. A 16-mm. print of the movie has been loaned to the Madison Chamber of Commerce by the War Office for noncommercial purposes.
