Looks absolutely fine to me. It gives it the exact feeling they wanted to achieve, a surreal look as if you're watching it through a curved glass or something. Think Alice and the looking-glass. Judging from the look of it I suppose they used some vintage anamorphic lenses with a non-standard compression while shooting open gate with the modern digital camera. Gorgeous photography by the way. But I suppose twitter schmucks are gonna find something to whine about anyway.

The choice of filming wide lens, even at closeups, is one of the worst technical decisions I've seen in the professional production. And it is not a good choice, the distortion of the image is very ugly and is completely wrong.
