Shiro is a lawyer. He loves cooking supper for himself and Kenji, a male hairdresser. But at the table tonight, things get a bit rocky for this couple.

One morning, Shiro forgets his cell phone and Kenji happens to see a suspicious-looking message from a woman. Could it be a secret lover…!?

Though Shiro's parents finally accept his relationship with Kenji, something feels off. Shiro is unable to face Kenji and express what is on his mind.

On the day of Shiro's father's surgery, Shiro hands his mother a small hand towel, but is unable to tell her the gift is actually from Kenji.

Shiro’s mom is worried about his future as he ages. He tells the usually cheerful Kenji he doesn't want to visit her but receives a stern reply.

Shiro has a lot on his plate: a bombardment of invitations from Daisaku, a new and pretty female apprentice to advise, and a jealous Kenji to placate.

Shiro and Kenji go on a double date with Daisaku and Wataru. When Shiro catches a cold the next day, Kenji tenderly looks after him.

Shiro sits with Kenji and another gay couple at a restaurant full of straight men and women. He becomes embarrassed and treats the gay couple coldly.

While Shiro is struggling to understand why he's getting so much attention from the women at a wedding, Kenji goes out with Miyake who needs to vent.

Miyake wants to remodel the salon for his wife. Kenji is concerned about Miyake's lovers, but keeps quiet. Tensions begin to rise between the two.

Shiro’s mom wants him to bring Kenji home for the New Year. Back at his own place, he suggests spending Christmas with Kenji, Daisaku and Wataru.

Kenji feels restless about meeting Shiro's family. In an unexpected turn of events, Kenji finds himself alone with Shiro's father.

New Year's special.

March. Shiro (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and Kenji (Seiyo Uchino) are summoned to a super-luxury yakiniku restaurant by Kohinata (Koji Yamamoto). There is also the figure of Wataru (Hayato Isomura). Even later, Mami Mitani (Rie Miyazawa), who is a big fan of Shiro, arrived. Kenji, who was jealous of Shiro who was soaring... At that time, Shiro receives a call from Hisae (Kaji Meiko) asking for money. Hisae once spent money on something, and Shiro thought it was his fault.

April. Kohinata with a weary expression visits Shiro and Kenji's house. When Kohinata went clam digging at the invitation of an actor and came home with a large amount of clams, Wataru, who had been in a bad mood since the appointment was canceled, said, "I'm not good at clams," and further bent his navel... One day. After finishing work at his home, Wataru opens the freezer to satisfy his hunger and discovers the clams that Shiro gave Kohinata. When he heads to Nakamuraya to cook something unusual, he runs into Kenji who is shopping.

May. Kenji, who was busy cooking and doing housework instead of Shiro, was found to have wasted more than expected in a week. He reflects that he has to be creative with his shopping. Reiko Miyake (Kaoru Okunuki) advises him to register for a leaflet app, and Kenji is able to keep his budget down. However, three weeks have passed since they passed each other with Shiro. A single dining table, dinner tableware that no one would eat—Kenji was about to be overwhelmed with loneliness.

The supermarket that Shiro often goes to has gone out of business, which leads to him and Kenji realizing that many things have changed.

Shiro visits Kayoko, who he hasn't seen in a while, and he witnesses the happiness of her family.

Episode 3: Shiro and Kenji go to Kohinata's house for Halloween dinner, and they learn how he and Wataru first met.

Shiro reconsiders whether or not to take over at his job office; Kenji hears gossip about the manager from his colleagues.

Christmas has come, and Shiro and Kenji reconsider their annual Christmas dinner menu.

Shiro and Kenji meet up with Kohinata and Wataru and celebrate New Years together.

Shiro and Kenji celebrate their birthdays together, while Shiro receives an unexpected gift.

Kenji's manager and his wife enter a new stage in their lives; Shiro's parents announce a decision to their son.

Kenji accepts being a manager at the hair salon, but the business that follows means that he and Shiro can't share meals together anymore.

Kenji's mother suggests sharing a meal with Shiro, which makes Shiro feel very nervous.

Kayoko serendipitously meets Kenji at the supermarket, and the encounter finally brings the two respective couples together to share a meal.

After having a deep conversation with his parents, Shiro decides to discuss some very important matters with Kenji.
