Hi, I'm not an expert on these things, but shouldn't this be something worked out by the third party service?

The third party service (fanart.tv) just take over the same ID as in TMDB is. Fanart.TV ID = TMDB ID
But the error is on TMDB side cause the ID is now duplicated

My point is that they just have to add TV to any TV-id and problem is solved. See Letterboxd for example. They have no issues whatsoever with this entry or any other entry since they differentiate between TV and movies. I suggest contacting fanart.tv about this problem since they are not implementing IDs correctly.

Since when are ID's assigned twice? I swear I read some time ago that TMDB do not want to do that.
All API addons i know (official stuff) working with ID only

You have reported a TV-entry (tv/88052) and a third party site (not doing things correctly) are mixing it up with a movie entry (movie/88052), and somehow you think this is a TMDb problem? Maybe there is something I'm missing here, but this is clearly something you should contact the third party site about.

Hi @chrissix666,
Our ID's are not globally unique, they are only unique within their own media type (movie, TV show, TV season, TV episode, person, etc.)
You will need to contact fanart.tv about this and have them change the way they use our ID's.
