Erica turns up at the cemetery, apologizing to Chris for lying about Jack. The crippled Edmund instructs Brooke to find out about his condition and his doctors, one of whom is warned by Maria to stay away from the operating room. Kendall goes back on the stand, and says that she didn't kill Michael, but she did take his body and the gun to the docks. When asked who helped her, Reggie bursts in and implies that it was him.

Kendall says on the stand that Reggie helped, and that it was Boyd that she married in Las Vegas. Babe and Krystle keep Paul drunk and convince him to leave before getting caught. Adam testifies that he and Palmer went to Michael's condo, but they didn't see him. Greenlee imagines she's hurting Ryan in the mine, and he strangely feels the pain. A mysterious witness is called, and it turn out to be Erica.

Ryan and Greenlee come across Babe's car, and Greenlee is worried for Bianca. Kendall gets through to Erica by telling her that if Bianca is dead, then Erica would live with the guilt forever. Everyone gets together to search for Bianca and Babe, including Erica, Ryan, and Greenlee. Meanwhile, Bianca gives birth to a girl, and Babe finds a phone and calls Paul Cramer for help, only to discover that she may be in labor as well.

Everyone in Pine Valley searches for Babe and Bianca, who remain missing. Kendall lashed out at Erica for 'killing' Bianca with her cruel words about Bianca's baby. Erica and Krystal bond over their fear of losing their pregnant daughters. Bianca and her newborn daughter, Miranda, are in critical condition. Babe goes into labor at David's cabin. Babe accidentally disconnects the phone while dialing for help, but not before calling Paul Cramer, who arrives from Llanview. Babe makes it back to the cabin and bravely suffers through her labor. Paul arrives and delivers her baby boy. He then drugs Babe and calls his sister Kelly (who recently delivered her own stillborn child) and tells her he has a baby for her.

Lily goes to question Jonathan on her own. Ethan rejects Zach, who is set on being a father to Ethan whether he likes it or not. Bianca begs Ryan to stop Jonathan from eloping with Maggie. Kendall and Greenlee enjoy an evening out together. Kendall is taken aback by Greenlee's announcement.

The kidnapping charges against Babe, Jamie and Tad are dropped. Kevin Buchanan asks the court to grant Babe custody of James. Babe pulls Krystal and David away from Bianca as they ask her to accept the District Attorney's deal which would keep Babe out of jail. JR tries to convince Bianca not to let Babe off the hook for keeping Miranda as long as she did. Tad assures Bianca that no one will blame her for whatever decision she makes. JR's attorney questions Tad, who ends up helping JR's case. Bianca remembers her past with Babe and returns to the courtroom. Bianca tells the judge she will accept the plea bargain keeping Babe and David out of jail while Krystal still faces a prison term. Bianca urges the judge to grant Babe, not JR, custody of James. Zach and Maria kiss passionately but she pulls back before things go any further. Zach explains to Maria he is going to try and have Alex Sr.'s will overturned in order to save Ethan from himself. Edmund is knocked unconscious by an unseen assailant as a fire breaks out in the barn at Wildwind. Ethan finds Zach crouched over Edmund's body and they carry Edmund out of the burning building. Maria, Brooke, Anita and Aidan arrive on the scene. Aidan realizes Lily is trapped in the burning barn and manages to rescue her in the nick of time. Zach is trapped under a fallen beam as he searches for his disc containing the evidence that Edmund can walk. Ethan saves Zach's life. Edmund is rushed to the hospital, where he flatlines. Ryan is alarmed to find Jonathan missing from his hotel room. Meanwhile, Jonathan loses his temper when Reggie and Danielle tell him that Maggie is gone. Jonathan manipulates Ryan into feeling sorry for him. Ryan overhears Jonathan making a veiled threat to Greenlee. Babe stands up to JR, Adam and Palmer as they vow to make her pay for what she did. Adam and Palmer plan on destroying David.

Brooke waits for Phoebe's funeral to begin, and is joyful when family members and friends arrive. Erica arrives to give her condolences, but Brooke starts a fight with her, until she realizes of her wrong and apologizes to Erica.
Jack asks Lily again where Sam is, but to protect her client's confidentiality she does not give him the answer he wants. Jack leaves unsatisfied with nothing he can do, just as Reggie comes in, and informs Lily that Jack and Erica's wedding might not happen.
Kendall goes to Ryan's place with a shocking opening statement. Kendall continues to plead Greenlee's case for a baby to Ryan, but he assures Kendall that if his wife has kids, it would not be with him. Ryan reassures Kendall that he is seeing a doctor to cope with something, but she misinterprets the seeing the doctor part.
JR goes to Jamie and Babe's place fussing over how Jamie's great-aunt Phoebe is bugging him even after she's dead. Babe, Jamie, and JR, go together to the funeral. More guests arrive

Kendall makes her nosy friend Simone anxious to find out about her decision on whether she is marrying Zack or not. Meanwhile, Reggie arrives at Fusion, to try to talk to Danielle. Danielle, who is upset at him, refuses to let Reggie talk to her. She leaves to go to some other room to do work, with Reggie following close behind. He apologizes to Danielle and tells her that he was frustrated. Then he proclaims his love to Danielle.
