Season one was about Galadriel and her alliance with Halbrand. She saved his life and was responsible for him creating the 'rings of power'. When she discovered his deception, it was too late to stop him from his rise to power.

It is rumoured that their 'saga' continues in season two. This time the early story of Sauron will be explored.

What can we expect?

• The War of Wrath, aka the Great Battle of the First Age, the war where Sauron killed Galadriel’s brother Finrod?

• More Werewolves, created by Sauron?

• Thuringwethil, a female Maia who took the shape of a vampire. She was the herald and mistress of Morgoth's lieutenant, Sauron?

And of course:

• Galadriel fruitless attempts to kill Sauron?

Will she be the one who captures him and brings him to Númenór?

"There he will then become the adviser of King Ar-Pharazôn and cause the Downfall of Númenor."
