Discuss The Gifted

I recently saw the pilot episode of The Gifted and even though I'm not a fan of X-men series, I found the episode quite interesting. Is it worth watching though? I saw some reviews on IMDB that criticised the show for lacking humour and this being Marvel's Twilight.

First watched 2 episodes and thought MEH and forgot about it, but I tried it again and got more into the characters (now on episode 6) and the storyline (even if a band of outlaws hiding isn't much of a storyline). As a Marvel and X-men reader for 20 years (stopped around 2005) it's so painful to see how the license is used and how some executives take bad decisions about the world and characters. Marvel as an editor making the original comics disappear because it helps Fox gain more money, rights for some characters gone to different companies ... Synger doing whatever he wants with storylines and characters ... All this creates very bad confusion for what should be a cohesive universe of mutants (oops, now only Fox can use this name, not Marvel comics and others). Back to the Gifted, I understand the fugitives arc (hope it settles somehow) making the teenagers grow up and get better at controlling their powers in a stressful situation, but having them resist the government / FBI ... doesn't seem like a storyline I'd be interested in for many seasons.

Like FunRoyal said. AOS is not episodic. Do you watch it?

Yeah I was scratching my head too.
