The Springsteen performance, which was taped in Los Angeles in September of 1992 while he was there for his World Tour, features ninety electrifying minutes of no-holds-barred rock n' roll with Springsteen and his touring band members. One of the highlights of this presentation of ""MTV Unplugged"" with Grammy award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge is a surprise appearance by Bruce Springsteen who joins Etheridge for one song. The two perform Springsteen's ""Thunder Road."" Alone on stage with her acoustic guitar, Etheridge rocks the house with a medley of her material, past and present, including her hit single ""Come To My Window,"" which garnered Etheridge a Grammy at the 37th annual Grammy Awards for best female rock vocalist.
