Overview
Originariamente realizzato per la televisione polacca, "Decalogo" si concentra sui residenti di un complesso residenziale nella Polonia tardo-comunista, le cui vite diventano sottilmente intrecciate mentre affrontano dilemmi emotivi che sono allo stesso tempo profondamente personali e universalmente umani. Il film, della durata di dieci ore, attingendo ai dieci comandamenti per l'ispirazione tematica e la struttura globale, si cimenta con complesse questioni morali ed esistenziali riguardanti la vita, la morte, l'amore, l'odio, la verità e il passare del tempo.

Its ten hour-long films, drawing from the Ten Commandments for thematic inspiration and an overarching structure, grapple deftly with complex moral and existential questions concerning life, death, love, hate, truth, and the passage of time.
