Kuragin and Adam discover that Polina, Napoleon's sister, has seduced Alexander... Spartacus tries to master the consciousness of Xenia and make her a loyal servant, instead of the murdered Charles.

Kuragin and Adam inform Peter and Olga that Grand Duke Alexander has been kidnapped! At the scene, Peter discovers an Illuminati hairpin. Mongo in the monastery is preparing to receive initiation. The Illuminati buy Luguin and bring him to the monastery, where he is met by D'Arny. Xenia manages to escape from Spartacus. But, once in the labyrinth under the monastery, she cannot find a way out. Alexander does not understand why he was kidnapped, and what trials he will face.
