It's worth noting that the Tencent website lists your proposed title as an alternative title alongside 古董局中局2 . How does the title appear in the Opening credits/sequence? I see that most of the promotonal material also uses the Ⅱ ...
I just want to know what is the title in the opening credits/sequence. If it's the same as in the promotional material (posters), then I really don't have any problem in changing it to your suggestion. Plain and simple.
ok
I am very cautious about editing film information (especially Chinese information). My previous job was as a website editor.
Chinese film information Douban is relatively authoritative, and then there is Mtime.
https://movie.douban.com/http://www.mtime.com/
Tencent and iQIYI are just YouTube-like video sites, and the information on them is not very accurate.
Oh I understand. Thank you for the information. In TMDb however we take as the primery source how the original distributor presents the show. (Title, episodes order, airdates, etc). It's very unfortunate if what you said about those (Tencent & iQIYI) sites's inaccuracies is true. Doesn't help that I took a small peek at a random episode and saw no 'II' in the title... (There was no** 之** either)
When these sort of discrepancies happen with titles we tend choose how it's displayed on screen. If had to choose I'll go for the 古董局中局Ⅱ, considering that at least the latter is present in pretty much all the promo material. Any comments?
This is not a very serious mistake. The status quo is fine.
However, the item "official title of the selected area (Chinese) 所选区域之官方片名 (汉语) " is locked, can it be unlocked?

Hi @iammaning Thanks for your report.
Not sure if set it as the primary title though. Both Tencent and iQIY official websites use 古董局中局之鉴墨寻瓷
