Hi,
I wanted to add the release date for https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/155908-kr-l-drozdia-brada/edit?active_nav_item=release_information However, i it always one day off. When I enter 1984-12-24 (which is the true date) it will become 1984-12-23. When I enter 1984-12-25 it will be stored as the true date 1984-12-24.

I'm just adding a new movie https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/235585 and entering release date +1, as the usual workaround, updates the page behind the popup to release date. But after saving and reloading I end up with release date -1. But if the greyed out page shows the same date as the popup I end up with the release date. (If I added a day before.) So its now sometimes off by 2 days and sometimes only 1, but you see which case you get before applying...

Hi,
I figured a strange behaviour. In the movie Rush I changed the german release date today around 11.15 (UTC +2) with the IE9. If you check the overview page itself and open up the release information you will (maybe) see that there is displayed (for germany) the 04-10-2013. If you are opening the edit page you will (maybe) see the 03-10-2013 (that is the right date) So there is a difference between the two pages. I cleared the cache and it is still like that. Don't have at the moment another browser to check it.

Ok I've tracked down the problem. First of all you get the date from server in UTC, and you tried to fix it with "change" method. So now we have list of episodes with corrected Date object by Time zone offset. But now, the we edit one episode. We change nothing and click "Save". And now the logical bug happen: "change" method will fire and get list of all episodes, and for each of them correct already corrected Date object (if you repeat this 25 time, all episodes date will be changed by a Day).
You have to make the correction only once when you receive data from server (when I quickly looked into kendo documentation I find you can intercept the response).
Also make sure the server ignores timezone when receive the date string in these cases.
This should get rid of this problem.

I've found the same problem as Mec!as, but for this Movie: http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/2096-tycus The release date in the overview is 1998-01-01, wheras in the editing field it says 1997-12-31.

Over the last couple of days I've encountered this issue now and then.
(Example, just now, from Rear Window. I first added the date normally, then when noticing it was one day off I added it again but one day later and then it worked.)
(EDIT: And then 10 minutes later I fixed this one release date and it was no problem. Could the problem be related to fixing multiple release dates at the same time?)
(EDIT 2: No, that was not the issue as I just added multiple release dates here without problem.)

I've encountered that same issue ever since I started to add/edit movie information, forcing me to always double check the release info, immediately after adding/editing it.
Three different scenarios:
a. release date entered = release date displayed i.e.: Discussion entered: 1895-12-28, displayed: 1895-12-28 time: 17:36 Central European Time (UTC/GMT +1:00)
b. release date entered and that which is displayed is off by one day i.e. Place des Cordeliers entered: 1895-06-10, displayed: 1895-06-09; entered: 1895-06-11, displayed: 1895-06-10 time: 18:41 Central European Time (UTC/GMT +1:00); time: 18:42 Central European Time (UTC/GMT +1:00)
c. release date entered and that which is displayed is always off, making it impossible to enter the correct date i.e. Course en sacs entered: 1896-10-25, displayed: 1896-10-24; entered: 1896-10-26, displayed: 1896-10-26 time: 17:07 Central European Time (UTC/GMT +1:00)
Browser: Firefox 35.0.1 - OS: Win XP - Language: FR - Locale: Paris, FR

I've most likely just ecountered this (or similar) bug while adding episodes to this series. Strangely enough it affects only episodes from March-December in the years 2000-2003 (just guessing - maybe it is a bug in leap year calculation because 2000 was leap year as it was divisible by 400?):
1/ In the season edit page listing all season episodes the date is displayed 1 day lower than it should be.
2/ While editing existing episodes via "pencil edit" on season list and then saving them, there is always one day subtracted from the old date, even though I din't change the date at all. To reproduce this just try to repeatedly edit and save any episode from March to December on this page. This is especially unnerving, as due to this bug all original air dates could be unintentionally made earlier .
I'm using Czech interface of TMDB and have system set to Central European Time (UTC+1). I have tried two independent systems (PC, laptop) with Windows 10 and Chrome + Edge and also Android phone with Chrome. All have this bug.
