A pair of former high school sweethearts reunite after many years when they return to visit their small hometown.

In September 1996, 21-year-old Ricardo López mailed a package to pop singer Björk containing a device rigged to spray sulfuric acid to kill or disfigure her. Upon his return home, he committed suicide, leaving behind nearly twenty hours of video diaries recorded over nine months as evidence of his actions. The diaries not only captured the building of the letter bomb, but also López's personal thoughts on his life, his family, and his sanity. Twenty years after these diaries were discovered, they shock and fascinate curious viewers in an online world.

Làng Wū Yáo is a boy born with a supernatural singing voice. Secluded in the snowy mountains, he is put through severe training by his blind mother. The best of me is a video installation consisting of two projections exhibited in different rooms. Each of the two videos is a replacement of the famous videos of Ricardo Lopez, the so-called Bjork stalker who in 1996 filmed himself in his house while building a bomb to send to the Icelandic singer, with whom he was obsessed. Twenty hours of videos shot over 9 months in which his thoughts, his daily life and his activities are documented in a sort of ante litteram vlog. The best of me shows two sides of the footage that are often ignored: on one hand its experimentation with the device, its use of the video camera as an expression of the self; on the other hand, the few moments in which Lopez does not speak and stops to reflect. Together, the two projections account for a material of great theoretical interest that goes beyond the simple initial shock.

A breakthrough comes when Dr. Guttmann introduces sport into their rehabilitation, a breakthrough that leads to the founding of the Paralympic Games.

In 1996, Ricardo López became obsessed with the Icelandic singer Björk, chronicling through video tapes his extreme disillusionment in learning that her personal life and romantic relationships didn't align with his racist perception of who she was. López created an elaborate scheme to send Björk a package rigged with sulfuric acid with the intent on killing her; at which point he would commit suicide so that they could be together in the afterlife. Thankfully, the package was intercepted by police and no harm came to the singer. However, López was found dead in his apartment. Comprising solely of crime scene photos/reports and video diary entries, this archival documentary chronicles the final days in the life of Ricardo López.
