Die Anime-Serie »Wave, Listen to me!« handelt in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Minare Kodas Gefühlswelt steht Kopf. Als sie an einem Abend, an dem sie ihren Frust eigentlich nur alleine im Alkohol ertränken wollte, auf einen Radiomitarbeiter trifft, schüttet sie diesem gegenüber ihr Herz aus. Als sie jedoch am nächsten Tag eine Aufnahme ihres Gefühlsausbruchs live im Radio hört, stürmt sie entrüstet in das Gebäude des Senders. Der Sendeleiter schafft es jedoch, Minare darüber hinaus auch noch zu einem spontanen Interview in einer Talkshow zu überlisten. Minare gerät damit immer tiefer in die Welt des Radios hinein, während anhand der einen Aufnahme von besagter Nacht die exzentrischen Facetten ihres Lebens in den Fokus rücken.
Die Anime-Serie »Listeners« spielt in einer Welt, in der es so etwas wie Musik nicht gibt. Der Junge Echo Rec trifft dort eines Tages auf ein mysteriöses Mädchen namens Myuu, die einen Audioanschluss in ihrem Körper hat. Die beiden entdecken, dass etwas ganz besonderes geschieht, wenn Myuu sich an einen Verstärker anschließt – etwas, das möglicherweise ihre gesamte Welt verändern könnte.
So begeben sie sich auf eine ganz besondere Reise, die die Fundamente der Gesellschaft erschüttern und Musik wieder in das Leben aller zurückzubringen könnte.

Die Handlung spielt in einer fiktiven mittelalterlichen Welt und erzählt die Geschichte des Knappen Tiuri. Dieser findet am Abend vor seinem Ritterschlag einen schwer verwundeten Ritter, welcher ihn bittet, einen wichtigen Brief zu König Unauwen im Reich westlich der Berge zu bringen. Tiuri nimmt den Brief an sich und begibt sich auf eine gefährliche Reise.

I have decided to transfer this story into the territory of France so as to contribute to a better mutual understanding of how a man, confronted by the reality of war, while struggling against his own destiny, ends up by accepting it. Today, the memory and humanity of these Japanese soldiers seems to me to require a work of enlightenment and memorial amendment.
