Diante do Trono é uma banda brasileira de música gospel, formada em 1997 na cidade de Belo Horizonte, na Igreja Batista da Lagoinha. O grupo tornou-se popular no Brasil desde o lançamento de seu primeiro trabalho, o disco Diante do Trono de 1998. Entretanto, foi a partir dos álbuns Águas Purificadoras e Preciso de Ti que adquiriu reconhecimento internacional, se tornando o maior conjunto gospel da América Latina e um dos mais bem-sucedidos na música brasileira.

Thi and Trung live in the gorgeous, rice-terraced mountains of Vietnam’s far northwest. Like many young men in this region on the main heroin route from Laos to China, they’re addicts, and they have HIV. Thi wants to kick his habit. Trung just wants to die. “With or Without Me ” is an intimate, tragicomic portrayal of two guys strung out at the edge of the map of a country struggling with drug use, and of the wives, family, doctors and friends trying to pull them back from the brink.

This album features a selection of some of the finest and most technically challenging repertoire for string orchestra, and includes repertoire by Benjamin Britten, the Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz, the Norwegian composer Terje Bjørklund as well as Bela Bartok's seminal work for string orchestra the Divertimento. The divertimento as a musical genre dates back to the nineteenth century. Divertimenti were composed for various social occasions and were intended to be light, uncomplicated and cheerful. Such pieces were often scored for small string ensemble. Over the years this effortless, elegant form has appeared in many different musical styles and, to a large extent, set the standard for the virtuosic chamber music we know today. A number of the most prominent composers of our age have engaged with this most fascinating musical style and have contributed to its further refinement as a chamber-symphonic showpiece.
